I am looking for the right stands to raise my 8010a's about 12-14 inches to get the tweeters up to ear level...are there any recommendations for desktop stands (nothing too bulky).

I have these: https://www.k-m.de/en/products/speaker-lighting-and-monitor-stands-and-holders/monitor-stands/26772-table-monitor-stand-structured-black?c=195

They are adjustable and of excellent quality. There is one more similar model for larger speakers.
