Hi, i have genelec 8020a and i was woundering if i move clockwise until the end of the volume knob would i be at +4 pro db ? Or -10dbu ?

Thanks for your answers it really important to me to know because my soundcard is on +4

Hi!

The input is professional balanced line level, so +4. The sensitivity of that model is specified:

Input level for 100dB output at 1m with volume control at maximum is -6dBu

Hi, First of all let me say thanks for your answer,

Ok so if i understand you it will be ok if i move the volume knob on the monitors both to the middle and not full clockwise ? because i feel it too strong, but i still want to be on the professional gain of +4db for my mixes and mastering ?

Volume control is there to be used, yes you can turn them!
