Hi All,

My hometheatre Room dimensions are 7.3 m depth, 4 m width and 3.5m height.

Below combination was advised by cousin which fits within my budget

Left and right speakers- 8050B
center speaker- 1238DF
surround speakers- 8030B x4
subwoofer- velodyne spl1200u x 2

so its a 7.2 channel setup. can you please suggest me any other setup that fits my room dimensions. And will combination of 8050B L/R speakers with 1238DF center speaker will work for front speakers?

Thank you

Hi Varma,

How far is the listening position from the monitors? For multichannel systems, we recommend that all the monitors are the same size. If you are looking at 8050B for main monitors, then the ideal system would be 7x 8050B and 2x 7370A or 1x 7371 subwoofer.

If you would like to take the next step, and calibrate the monitors to your room, I would recommend 7x 8350 or 8351A monitors for your setup.

You can read more about GLM calibrating tool from link below:
