12 V Trigger for 8260

Hi
I know that the 8260 has a 12v trigger input for switching it on remotely (70mA min).
My preamp has a 12v trigger output (100mA max).
What is the best way to connect the preamp and the two 8260 in order to switch on the two speakers at the same time.
Thanks for your help.

Hi,

Each 8260A will consume about 70 mA of current, so total of 140 mA which maybe too much for the output of your preamp if it really has a strict 100 mA limit. In a worst case it will burn something inside the preamp. I would be cautious to even test it.

If you want to play safe, you would need an external relay box (with at least 140 mA output) which you would control with the preamp output.
