GLM controlled Surround Setup without Subwoofer

Is it mandatory to include a Genelec subwofer in a GLM controlled Surround Setup ? Or can I run the following combination of speakers connected with CAT cables to controll the whole thing ?

8260 for L/R
8351 Central Speaker
8330 Surround Satellites

The 8260 are going so deep that I feel no desire to add a Subwoofer

It is not mandatory to have a subwoofer. All SAM monitors and subwoofers work as individual units. You can have as simple as one monitor SAM system. :)

We used to have the GLM.SE system which consisted out of SE7621A subwoofer and 8130A monitors which would need the subwoofer to work properly as a system.
