Hi,

Should I buy a Genelec 7350A subwoofer for my 8351a?

My room is 10 Ft by 19.5 FT and high ceilings

So is not very big.

I was wondering if one 7350A subwoofer would be sufficient for my room. or at least improve my bass because I have a null around 100 hz .

Thanks

Hi,

It is not recommended to use those two models together. The 7350A subwoofer is way under-powered and -sized for the 8351A monitors. They require much larger subwoofer to be able to perform well as a system. Our recommended subwoofer model for them is the 7370A.

Yes, one 7370A is enough for a stereo system. If you plan to expand to a multichannel system (5.1 or more), then two 7370As is our recommendation.

It's all room dependant, you should use GLM to find the best response. If you Google "subwoofer placement" you will find lots of good advice where to start.
