Question about 7360A analog section

Hi,

I was considering 7360A with analog monitors. Is the crossover section fully analog? Or the crossover involves AD and DA for the main monitors?

Thank you!

Hi,

When using the centralized bass management option with a fixed 85 Hz crossover, signal routed through the subwoofer will not be converted into digital domain.

Centralized bass management
This method builds both the highpass and the lowpass filters in the subwoofer and can be used in all setups, with or without GLM control. A fixed 85 Hz crossover filter for the analogue main channels is default for manual stand-alone use. However, we recommend the use of the much more flexible distributed bass management method. In this method all analogue signal cables are routed through the subwoofer's IN/OUT connectors to the respective main monitors.

Hello,

Do the home speakers and subwoofers (so the G- and F-series) have purely analog crossovers? Meaning that the signal is never converted into digital domain when feeding the subwoofer with line out signal (from DAC) and transferring it to the speakers?

I'd be grateful for an answer to this potentially silly question.

Thanks!
