GLM 2.1.0/2.0.6 incomplete calibration issue

Hey!

I'm trying to do the auto calibration process on a 5.1 setup (8320A + 7350A).

The sweeps play on all speakers, then the EQ compensation process begins, but ends after 3 or 4 speakers out of 6 (changes every time I try) are done (at least on the visual interface), saying the process is complete.

Checking the speakers acoustics settings, usually only 1 or 2 speakers will have kept their calibration settings, and all other remain unchanged (flat, no level or EQ adjustments). I also had a couple of times where none kept any settings from the calibration.

I checked in the Setup Files folders, and I noticed not every speaker has a corresponding TXT file with the EQ adjustments. This of course coincides with what I'm seeing in the app itself (no txt, no calib).

This occurs to me on GLM 2.1.0 as well as 2.0.6 on Win10 64bits. Attached a screencap of the whole thing.

I'm noticing just now that not all of my speakers are on the same firmware version; could that be the problem?

Help!?

Hi Paul,

Sorry to hear about these problems. There is definitely something strange going on as the measured frequency response looks like background noise, not the actual frequency response of the monitor. Can you please send your GLM setup to SAM@genelec.com ? Please use Help | Export setup to desktop.

Thanks!

Could you also check and update the adapter firmware by double clicking the icon on the main grid. Try to calibrate again after update.
