SAM 8320 with a 7360 Sub? General Subwoofer compatibility

Hello!

Glad to be joining the team! I just purchased the 8320 GLM Pack and I am about to add a Subwoofer, but I was wondering if using the 7360 would be an option instead of the 7350, to enable me to upgrade to bigger sats further down the road.

It would generally be tremendously helpful to have a chart showing which Subs are combinable with which speakers, even though that would probably be quite huge :)

Thank you very much for the assistance!

Hi Horn,

Genelec have a monitor setup guide that you can download from here http://www.genelec.com/sites/default/files/media/Studio%20monitors/Catalogues/genelec_monitor_setup_guide_2015.pdf

The 7360 will be compatible with your 8320's. Although it will be overkill to start with, as your system grows it will be correct. There is nothing wrong with using a bigger subwoofer, after calibration it will integrate the same as if it were a 7350, it will just have a bit more extension and headroom.
