Hi Guys,

I am considering buying a sub woofer to go with my new Genelecs. Other than the 7040 sub, i was considering the KRK 10S G2 Powered Reference Studio Subwoofer Monitor because it is more affordable

Can you suggest alternative suitable subs that can be used.

Hi,

I am assuming you mean 8010A monitors? We don't recommend using any other brand subwoofer than Genelec. Most suitable model is 7040A. It will provide the best possible sound quality and integration with the monitors.
