Dual 8020A with Subwoofer 1092A

Hello

First time time for me to post here, I have just acquired a pair of 8020A, and it is awesome for music monitoring. I have come across an old Genelec 1092A subwoofer. May I confirm whether the subwoofer 1092A would be a good match for dual 8020s? I understand that 1092A was meant to compliment 1030S. Thank you very much

Hi,

The 1092A can be used with 8020A speaker without any problems. It has more the sufficient maximum output capabality even for larger monitors than that. You can either route the signal through the subwoofer or connect monitors and subwoofer separately. In latter case, enable the 85 Hz bass roll-off on the speakers.

Hello

Thank you, one of my 8020A is faulty, I am seriously thinking into upgrading my current monitors. I would like to keep the 1092A (really like it). Could you please advise which monitor set from the 8000 Series would match/compliment my old 1092A Subwoofer? Thank you very much.

Hello,

Suitable monitors from our current product range are 8020 and 8030 sized monitors.
