Hello All,

I recently bought Chord MOJO DAC.

The line output of Mojo is 3V.

Is it too much for my Genelec F One sub ?

Should i use 2V Line out or 3V line out will be fine ?

Regards.

Hi,

The Chord MOJO (which is a headphone DAC) seems to have either variable or fixed (3V) output level. If you are planning to use the latter, how are you going to adjust the volume? Are you planning to use the subwoofer's remote controlled for this purpose? What is your source device?

My Source is either Chromecast Audio/My TV optical Out.
So i can control the volume from the Source & Sub.

I am just worried, whether 3V Line out can damage the speaker ?

3 volts is only the maximum output of the device. If you will adjust the volume from the source, the output level will naturally change too. 3 volts won't damage the subwoofer but it's quite high which means you need to attenuate it quite a bit at some part of the signal chain. Also notice that the Mojo will automatically reset this setting every time you boot it.
