Water stain on the Genelec speaker

Hi Guys,

My maid removed some dust on the top of my Genelec 8040a with a damp cloth. The next day, I found that the area appears to have some grey water stain and can't be removed. I wonder if there is anything I can do to restore the original color? Thanks in advance for your advice!

Hello,

Thanks for your message. Sorry to hear about these stains on your Genelec products. After asking our Factory Service Center about your issue, they recommended that you try using a 3M Cleaner Spray (Ref. 50098). This cleaner is used in our production to clean product before final packing and shipment.
Hope this will work fine.

Best regards,
