GLM with a pair of 8330's only - without sub?

I've made a tech support enquiry to Genelec, but would like to know sooner if possible.

Can anyone confirm that GLM software (and specifically GLM AutoCal) will work with only one pair of speakers and no sub please?

In the manual it says -

To set up a monitoring system you will need monitors and subwoofers,

and as far as I can see there's no mention made of using GLM with a single pair only of 8330's say, and all setup instructions refer to having a sub as well, so it would appear that GLM needs a pair of monitors and a sub to work.

Anyone know if this is correct please?

thanks

You could always use 82xx and 12xx SAMs GML calibrated without a sub - there is no reason for a change in the 83xx-series....
Naturally, adding a sub will have some benefits :)

Great thanks for the information, I'll go ahead with 8330's to replace 8030's initially, and get the sub later. :)
