GLM 2.0: Can user set a custom FR?

Well, the title says it: Is the GLM 2.0 -software always going for flat frequency response, or does it allow the user to alter the frequency response to his/her personal preference?

Hi,

The default target curve for the AutoCal calibration is very close to a flat curve, but all filters are user adjustable so that user can alter the frequency response to his/her personal preference. Additionally a few predefined filter settings for HF tilts are available.

Just a quick question which goes into the direction of the initial question.

Are there any plans to implement different "default" target curves into the GLM software?

Thx and cheers

Hi Knut,

I can not say if we will implement different "default" target curves or some other feature which will essentially perform similarly, but we are definitely looking at different options how to enable the customer to quickly and easily adjust the overall spectral balance of the system without the need to adjust individual filters set by the AutoCal.

Thanks Ilkka,
so I will wait and see which will be the solution Genelec will come up.

I just became a happy owner of a white pair of 8351 + GLM 2.0 kit for home use :D
and will play around with the software as it is now. :ugeek:

Cheers

Knut
