8030 and ear fatique?

Hello,

Well, using my genelec for more than 2 years now ... but moved to small room, and now I experience ear fatigue with them ...

So, what do you recommend to fix this? Do I need to use dip switches ... I have feeling that they are harsh on me in high spectrum now... now they are on 10 cm from rear wall, and I am in maybe 50 cm from them listening (nearfield situation).

The room is untreated .

Any help ?

Hi,

You can try to engage the treble tilt switch which applies a -2 dB tilt on high frequencies. Another (better) solution would be to add some acoustical treatment, at least to the first reflection points.

Can you describe how to do that. Is there any chance to do it by myself, or I must consult professonals ?

Thanks
