Alternatives to 5040?

I am afraid the 5040 will be a little too small for a home theater subwoofer with my 6010 setup. Yes I am aware that the speakers should be bigger too, but is it possible to use another subwoofer with the 6010's? I know the connections are different on the 7050, but there are adapters. Would this work well?

I haven't really heard the 5040 that much, just once a few years ago. People do say it isn't a good subwoofer. Not that punchy etc..

The price on the F Two is a bit too tasty for my mouth :/

Hi,

it is possible to use 7050B with adapters. Just remember to set up input sensitivity much lower than typical because 6010s have 10 dB lower input sensitivity. +4 dBu would be a good setting to start with.
