G four and F two System

Hello I am new to the Audio world and I have some basic questions…

I already have 7.1 system consisting of : 3 x 1032A, 4 x 1030A and 1 x 7071A in my house.

Now I am interested in a 2.1 system for a 40m2 in a small cabin in the mountains.

I have been advised to use the following speakers: 2 x G Four & 1 x F two. What do you think about this system?

Also would it be possible to enclose the F two under a concrete structure which would surround it on three sides and only one opening ?

If yes, what would be the best measurements for this enclosure and it opening ?

Fyi the reset of the system will be : Sonos steamer, RME ADI-2 AD/DA-converter

thanks in advance for your advice and suggestions

Hello,

That is a very nice system but of course much smaller compared to the system you already have, especially when it comes to the subwoofer. 7071A has two 12" woofers in 150 liter cabinet powered with 500 W amplier. F Two has an 8" woofer in 15 liter cabinet powered with 150 W amplifier.

It is possible to enclose the subwoofer like that. Measurements shouldn't be much larger than the dimensions of the subwoofer, about 2 inch larger in all dimensions. The opening should be equally sized.

Dear Ilkka,

Thanks for your answer, it has been very reassuring and helpful.

Of course the systems are having nothing in common but their usage will be much different also.

I will order this system as soon as I can contact your retailer.

Also thanks to you all at Genelec for creating such great speakers.
