Hello,

I have a couple of questions !

What is the expected action of the "Symmetrical Placement EQ" filter ?

Based on the pictures below, would you recommend to check the "Symmetrical Placement EQ" box ?

Thank's in advance...

Hi,

Expected action is that it forces both speakers to use identical AutoCal filters on both units. Typically this option provides worse result compared to individual filter settings due to the fact that not many rooms are symmetrical enough for it to work properly. Of course you should experiment and listen the difference between these two options.

Hi Ilkka,

.

The corrections made by GLM are quite different for left and right speaker ! Therefore I can reasonably assume that my room is not a symmetrical one !!!

Thank You for the explanation.

Cheers,
