Level control setting on 6010

The manual doesn't say much about adjusting the level control on the rear of the 6010 spkrs. What is the factory setting for this pot? Mine were used as demos, so the pot may have been adjusted. I am adding the 5040 next week & would like to set all levels at some appropriate point to start with.

Default setting is fully clockwise.

Thank you. While I have your attention, I hope, will the 5040 work without the remote volume control? I will use the system vol control to control the input level to the sub.

Yes of course the subwoofer will work without the remote volume control, it's just an option.
