Thank you for all the years of Community discussions and activity!

The time has come for us to retire the community forums, but we will keep everything available for reading. There is a lot of valuable content written over the years, and you'll be able to access all of that. However, no new posts can be written, or old posts modified.

If you have questions, we recommend you use the Support function on the bottom right corner to contact our Customer Support directly.

Alternatively, if you wish to engage in a community discussion with other people, there are many active forums available. There is also an active, fan managed GENELEC COMMUNITY in Facebook, and many Genelec employees are active in the discussions there.

We are sorry for any possible inconvenience this may cause you, but we hope to hear from you through the other channels mentioned above.

Running GML 1.5 on my macpro under Mavericks and i always have to load the setupfile manually. Used to work like a charme under 10.6.8.

You should search around in the forums. I have seen more users complaining about this. Genelec does not answer most of the posts about the GLM software. I read a lot of complaints about version 1.5 so I decided to stay with the old version that is quite buggy but at least the calibrations and volume works and I didn't want to risk it. I'm waiting for version 2.0 hopefully rewritten from a lower level

Try running the previous version of GLM on Mavericks. I also run Mavericks and I use the old version that on paper doesn't support Mavericks and that works better. (This kind of proofs that Genelec doesn't know how to make good software). Just make sure to turn of app nap in the applications information dialogue in OS X.

Of course there is a lot of bugs in that version too but that one works best for me. As I said before, the software from this company is really messy so you will have to try around a little bit...

Thank you Genelec for working on making an all new much improved version of the GLM software!

Best regards,
Chakshu
