7050A blown fuse Transformer replacement?

Last year I had a transformer go in one of my 1029A's. The fuse went first and would just then blow again each time you powered up. I had a document I sourced to help me test the transformer and indeed it was faulty and a replacement one did the job.

Now I have had a fuse go in my sub and wonder if that could be the transformer too? I'm waiting for some replacement fuses to arrive but in the meantime, does anyone know whether the toroidal transformer in the 7050A is the same as the 1029A or can it be tested in the same way. It does look pretty similar.

Thanks in advance for anyone who can help me.

Well, I found a similar fuse, 1.00A instead of 1.25A and that just blew straight away. Suspecting transformer. The transformer when tested like the 1029A one - which I'm pretty sure is the same part looking at the numbers, doesnt have the same continuity as that found at http://www.community.genelec.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=11&t=308
