G Series in UK?

Hello,

Could you help me with info on if the G series are available in the UK? I cannot find any shops selling them.

If not, and if I order from another country, any issues with using them in UK (e.g. mains power)?

Regards,

Hi,

You should direct your question about availability to our UK distributor.

Source Distribution Ltd
Unit 6, Pembroke Buildings Cumberland House Business Park, London, United Kingdom
T + 44 208 962 5080
F + 44 208 962 5050
W www.sourcedistribution.co.uk
E sales@sourcedistribution.co.uk

Except for M series, 8010 and 4010 which have universal mains input voltage, our speakers are mains voltage specific. So if planning to import speakers from another country, make sure the country has 220-240V mains voltage.

Dear Ilkka,
I found a dealer with stock and good prices. One thing to check-
What is the sensitivity of the G series signal sensor? I had negative experience with signal sensor of another brand - the speakers were switching off at levels that are low listening levels.
So what is the sensitivity of the G series sensor and how does it translate to domestic listening levels as stereo pair and as surround channels? Is that level user adjustable?
Also, what is the timeout time? Some literature say 1 hour, some 1/2 hour.
Thank you.

Hi,

G series ISS start-up level is about -70 dBu which translates to 26 dB SPL output at speaker's default input sensitivity. This is equivalent to the background noise of a very quiet room/studio. Level is not user adjustable. Time-out time is 1 hour for G series and 1/2 hour for M series products.
