re painting grills and AIW26 mount rods

Hello again,
well I'm now the proud owner of 7 AIW26s and 2 HTS4Bs.
What a system it will be when I finally install it all together.

1) Unfortunately the 4 of the sets of grills and frames for the AIW26s I have, have been painted black by a previous owner.
For the grills at least, should I strip these before painting so as not to add even more thickness to the grills?
They appear to have been spray painted and not too clogged up, but I fear going from black back to white, will take too much paint. Yes, I will carefully remove the mesh grill front before painting as I can see a foam layer behind it.

2) Where as I though I'd got all the mounting parts, I seem to be missing some sets of the square side mounting rods. I've asked my UK distributor for a quote, but my impatience is getting the better of me....do you even sell them after market, on their own or as part of a whole kit?

Thanks in advance

Hi there,

1) I would recommend stripping the old paint before applying a new one.

2) We don't have the mounting parts in our official spare part catalogue but we do sell them. They have to go through the distributor though. Part number for the mounting rod is 239-0002. Part number for the ledge which attach the rod to the enclosure is 239-0001. Price and availability information have to come from the distributor.
