F1/G1 volume control

I am looking to buy a F1/G1 combo. However, I would like to avoid F1's volume control since my DAC is better at it.

Is it possible? How do I do that?

Best regards,
Alexey

Hi,

You should just set it to maximum volume through the wireless volume control. Then it won't apply any attenuation.

Thank you very much, just ordered my first Genelec system!

By the way, how is attenuation done in F1? Is it digital or analog?

It is done in digital domain.

Thank you for clarification!

Is it a motorized pot? Or a resistor ladder?

No problem! I am OK with it as long as it does not introduce any noise and channel imbalance.
