Hi,

I have a question about 8040A power consuming. When I turn on the monitors, does it consume the same amount of power, in louder or lower sound? When there is no signal, does it consuming full power amount 90 + 120W?

Thanks for anwer.

Thanks
kyo.

Hi,

The power consumption is related to the output level. At low output levels also the power consumption is low. Maximum power consumption for 8040A is 110 VA and idle (=no signal) power consumption is 10 VA.

Really thank you.

What about 8050A, I also own a pair of them. And is the power consume related with the operating voltage?

Thanks
kyo

You can find this information for all of our speakers from each model's datasheet/operating manual. For 8050A it is 170 VA and 10 VA.
