1029A Voltage Switching / Fuse Inquiry

Hello,

I have a pair of 1029a's and I am located in the US. I'm moving to Germany at the end of the month and wanted to know how best to approach using my genelec's abroad. I know the 1029a I have is in "group A" according to the FAQ: http://www.genelec.com/faq/general/66-i ... s-voltage/ (it says 115/230V) on the back of the speakers. However, the fuse for the 1029a is not user serviceable. Does this mean all I must do is change the voltage selection upon arrival and then plug into a regular power adapter? Would you recommend using a step down transformer/converter from 220 to 110?

Cheers,

Snad

Hi Snad,

All you have to do is change the voltage selection and plug them in.
