Hello ...

I just bought today the 8020B monitor for my home studio.
I am making psy trance music and i have a room 2.8mx2.9mx3m
I can still replace the monitor with the 8030B .
cAN SOMEBODY ADVICE WHAT ARE THE best monitor for such room size and for music producing and mixing

Hello,

If you want the best, I would recommend 8260A, but that is in another price range. If you have the option to switch to 8030B, I would definitely make it because the 8030B is a better speaker than the 8020B.

i can still switch to 8030A BUT i am not sure becuase the size of the room .
my room studio is 2.7x2.9 and it is small i am affraid that the speaker will be big to the room ...please advice

Hi,

8030 is not too big for your room because the minimum listening distance is only 0.5 meters and if you will encounter bass problems (typically too much bass), the speaker has room eq controls which help you to achieve flatter response. I have seen people using 8050 speakers in a similarly sized room as yours without any problems. :)
