Genelec 8030A - Step down transformers

Hello,
I own a pair of Genelec 8030A, I live in France so they are 220volt powered.
I'm gonna move to a country where the voltage is 110volt.

So I have to buy a pair of step down transformers.
Which brand and which models do you recommend for the 8030A ?
How many Watts do I need ?
And what about the sound quality, is there any loss ?
Is a step down transformer noisy ?

Thanks for your help.
Bye

Hello Rémi,

Thank you for your questions! Actually you will need a step-UP transformer because you need to convert the 110V AC voltage to 220 volts. You can use a single transformer for a pair of speakers. For a pair of 8030A speakers it should have a power rating of at least 500 VA. We don't have any recommendations for brand or model. I don't have personal experience about the noise but I would assume it is pretty much silent. There is no sound quality loss.
