Problems with autocal and background noises.

Hi everyone.
Im trying to autocal my 8240a and having problems.
when its trying to autocal i get the message: "Background noise too high, Autocal cannot operate."
And in the information bar it says: "Background noise: Peak -2.4dB / RMS -11.4dB".
I have used my phones not so accurate decibel meeter and it says it is aproxamatly 35dB of constant noise in the room, and thats not too loud , is it?
We have used the autocal before with another computer in the same room and it worked great!

Im using the latest version of GLM on windows7.

Can anybody help me, whats wrong?

Best regards, Ludvig

Hi Ludvig,

Those numbers indicate that something is wrong with the equipment or the computer. Something in the system is generating a loud noise which is not real. Do you have access to another GLM microphone you could try? Or possibly another computer?
