6010a + 5040a/F one question

I currently own a pair of 6010a for my home/laptop setup. I went to my local Genelec dealer, and tried out the 5040a sub with my home kit to see if I'd like it...bad idea now I really want one! Haha!

Anyways, I was looking through the website and noticed the F one being the ''new'' 5040a.

1. Is the "F one" compatible with the 6010a?
2. Is there a difference between the 5040a and the "F one"?
3. Is the 5040a better "calibrated" with the 6010a than the "F one"? Or is this just a myth?

Hi LG,

1. Yes, it is perfectly compatible with 6010A.
2. Yes, there are some differences like the ISS (Intelligent Signal Sensing) feature and wireless remote control.
3. No, every Genelec product is calibrated with the same professional manner.
