Home theater setup with only AIC25 roof mounted speakers?

Would it be possible to build a 5.1 home theater setup with only roof mounted speakers (AIC5) and a sub?

Looking for the most subtle setup as the front wall will have a fireplace as well. The projector screen would be also hidden in the ceiling when not in use.

Comments/experiences highly appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Henri,

of course it is possible to build such a system, but naturally it won't be as optimal as with floor standing or in-wall speakers. I think it is a matter of taste and requirements what kind of compromise is still tolerable. For sure it will sound better than most other systems but if you want to have the best possible sound quality, you will need to think about placing the front speakers on the wall.
