Hi,

I just bought 8030a, it's equipped with genelec own standard already. Should I add isolation pad to absorb vibration??

My fd recommend 'auralxx' pad, don't know it's good for genelec or not, pls share your experience. Thanks!!

Hi,

It is not needed to use extra isolation pad, the Iso-Pod does the job perfectly already plus it offers an adjustable tilt.

I just switched desk stands to something I like much better. They were not available at the time I purchased my 8030a monitors. They put the speakers at the same 8" height which was/is perfect for me and provide much better isolation to and from the desktop, very reasonably priced an ideal solution. They are sold as a pair and come with short and long tube risers as well as inserts for the tubes that can provide additional tilt up or down if needed for your specific application.
