Alternatively, if you wish to engage in a community discussion with other people, there are many active forums available. There is also an active, fan managed GENELEC COMMUNITY in Facebook, and many Genelec employees are active in the discussions there.

Genelec 6010A noise

Hello,
I recently hear some noise from left speaker (a kind of crackle) audible from 50 cm.
This noise is independent from volume setting.
Unplug input cable does not solve it.
What could be the problem?
A faulty capacitor?

Thanks in advance

Hello Diego,

It sounds like a more serious problem than a faulty capacitor. Your speaker requires professional service. Please contact your local distributor for contact information of the local service center.
