home theater setting

I want a 5.1 ch system using Genelec speakers for L shaped living room (16 feet x 8 feet viewing area and 20 feet x 8 feet non viewing area). I am trying to choose between 8020 and 6010A. Which would be a better bet for my room size. While 6010a fits the budget my worry is it may turn out to be too small in a 2.1 stereo mode for pure audio.

Any suggestions.

Hello,

The main difference between 6010A and 8020B is the bass extension. You will get quite a bit more bass (and better quality too) with 8020B. So unless you are going to buy a subwoofer to complement the 6010A, I would recommend 8020B.
