New Colors? = Mystic Black?

I read the "Genelec Adds Tones of Colour to 8000 Series" article - and it doesn't say what the new colors actually were?
http://www.genelec.com/news/171/52/Gene ... 00-Series/

Have the colors been officially announced? I saw pics of Mystic Black on the Genelec facebook - is that the only new color? Any chance on a white 8240?

I noticed some new speakers arriving with a "Mystic Black" option - with MM at the end of their model number. Also: with the 7060 sub, there are both 7060B and 7060BPM models available. Are they different shades of black?

Sorry for bugging all of you audio genius guys about something as stupid as speaker color.

I'm about to upgrade from two 1029s... to 8040s for LCR + 7060 sub (with the 1029s for rear surrounds :) - either that or 8240s, 8230s and 7260 if I can test 'em out... or a compromise with 8240s and 7060 and 1029s... Anyway... excited!

Are you sure about that? I asked at my local retailer and he said only the 8040 was available in white - not the 8240. If the 8240 was available in white, that would be really nice :)

Edit: Nevermind - the article talks about the 8000 series, not the 8200 series. The 8000 series is afaik available i white, but that doesn't include the 8240 :-|

Sorry fuzzyboy,

8240's are definately available in white, we have supplied many pairs of white 8240's and 8250's to domestic users.

Your retailer needs to contact their distributor and ask the question.
