How do you run 1029A's off a Mac Pro laptop

I just obtained some 1029A's and want to set these up to run off my Mac Pro.
I'm assuming the soundcard will be good enough, however I'm wondering about how to cable the monitors straight from the headfones jack on the Mac. I can think of a few ways, but they seem messy and not too sure if I would keep discreet stereo signals etc...
Any ideas?
The 1029A's have an XLR jack and a TRS jack as inputs.

Hi,

For example this kind of cable will work: http://www.dolphinmusic.co.uk/product/1 ... -m-2m.html

Or alternatively 3.5mm to 2x TRS.
