6010A and Desktop Konnekt6

Hello,

I'm the first one to admit my lack of knowledge when it comes professional audio, so here I am asking for some advice.

I'm currently seeking what kind of setup I want for my small Mac Pro Final Cut Studio editing workstation. Right now I have my eyes on a pair of Genelec 6010As, but I'm unsure how to connect them and achieve proper volume control. Searching for various audio interfaces TC Electronic's Desktop Konnekt6 seems like a really good choice and within my budget.

My concern is what kind of a cable/adapter I need to connect the 6010As to this firewire audio interface unit? A simple question I'm sure but I tried searching for an "RCA to line-in" cable but always ended up finding Y-connectors. By this point I got a bit mixed up since the Konnekt6 has seperate lines for right/left speakers. I'm sure this is very basic audio cable stuff, and some people are at least smirking, but so am I at my own lack of know-how on this.

Thanks for the help in advance.

Hello,

The Desktop Konnekt6 seems to have 1/4" TSR output connectors, so you would need a 1/4" TSR (also known as 'phone plug' or 'jack') to RCA stereo cable.
