Thank you for all the years of Community discussions and activity!

The time has come for us to retire the community forums, but we will keep everything available for reading. There is a lot of valuable content written over the years, and you'll be able to access all of that. However, no new posts can be written, or old posts modified.

If you have questions, we recommend you use the Support function on the bottom right corner to contact our Customer Support directly.

Alternatively, if you wish to engage in a community discussion with other people, there are many active forums available. There is also an active, fan managed GENELEC COMMUNITY in Facebook, and many Genelec employees are active in the discussions there.

We are sorry for any possible inconvenience this may cause you, but we hope to hear from you through the other channels mentioned above.

This is the 2nd time i log on the forum to discuss about my favorite friends--Genelec 6010a.
Less money but gain valuable sound.
--That's what i want all the time.
Now,i have almost listened it for 5 months.
Every day when i return my life after work,
and stick arround with my favorite friends,
Tune on my Denon700AE CD player,
I was completely sorrounded by amazing ,pure music,
like a massage, let me out of those mess things.
For many years, i like listening piano,Guitar,And Pipa--kind of chinese traditional instruments.
All these instruments are played smoothly, clearly by Genelec 6010A.
with miximum loss of sound reproduction, eventhough in maximum sound.
But as far as i know,
in loud sound the bass result is less satisfied.
Maybe a subwoof is needed that time.
on the other hand,to general users who is also in demanding of sound,
Only use Genelec to listen some music, POP or vocal etc..
Subwoof is not necessary. a pair of Genelec 6010a can completely carry on the job.
The sound Genelec made is bit diffrent compared to those other loudspeaker-makers.
To end-users Genelec is really a good choice.
expensive but worth the money.
one problem to 6010a is no volumn control that's a bit inconvenient to family users.
Your choice depend on your tastes!
To near listener and limited by room-size,6010a can satisfy what you want.
All above metioned only my personal point of view.
