Hello,

is the GLM (SE) software compatible with the 64bit version of Windows 7?

And what about the Griffin PowerMate? Does it work well with Windows 7 x64?

Thanks and Regards

Hello,

Thanks for your post. We are currently testing the 64-bit Windows 7 software. Windows 7 can run 32-bit applications, but we are now performing tests with the 64-bit sound system interface of the operating system. Stay tuned for any further information on this issue. Thanks.

The Griffin Powermate will work also in 64-bit Windows 7.

Best regards,

Hello,

any news on the drivers for the interface? I downloaded GLM and the software works fine with Win 7 x64. After playing around with it, my fingers are even more itching to get Genelec DSP speakers  .

Hi,

The USB interface is a HID device i.e. it uses operating system's own device drivers, which means that the interface will work perfectly in Windows 7 x64. I'm not sure what 'sound system interface' Christophe was talking about back in December, but for sure you can get the Genelec DSP speakers now. :)

Hi,

yiiihaaa, I have my DSP System (2x 8240 + 7260) now for about two weeks and I am really overwhelmed  . The setup and measurements where so easy to perform. The sound and integration of the subwoofer is just outstanding.

Thank you very much for building such great systems and nice support in the forums.

Cheers,
Thommy
