Thank you for all the years of Community discussions and activity!

The time has come for us to retire the community forums, but we will keep everything available for reading. There is a lot of valuable content written over the years, and you'll be able to access all of that. However, no new posts can be written, or old posts modified.

If you have questions, we recommend you use the Support function on the bottom right corner to contact our Customer Support directly.

Alternatively, if you wish to engage in a community discussion with other people, there are many active forums available. There is also an active, fan managed GENELEC COMMUNITY in Facebook, and many Genelec employees are active in the discussions there.

We are sorry for any possible inconvenience this may cause you, but we hope to hear from you through the other channels mentioned above.

Hi..!

This is Ashish Verma, a fresh Audiographer (Film and Television Institute of India, India) from India.
The thing is that I have made a very important dicision of my prof. carrier by ordering a pair of Genelec's New 8020 B, monitor system, and this I did by telling one of my friend who was in Paris, France to bring them with him when he was coming to India on 09-12-2009. Thus I have placed an order to the shop in Paris named HOMESTUDIO (http://www.homestudio.fr).
But by the mistake of the shopkeeper he has deliver Genelec 8020 A system, the previous one (without on-off switch) which I didn't want...and that's why I made it clear with him many times at the time of placing the order, and because there was an additional postal package over their main packaging..there was no reason for suspecting such a mistake.

Now today when he arrived here in India and I saw that they are 8020 A felt very shocked and disappointed since this was my first step towards my carrier and I couldn't get properly what I wanted very much to have! Now there is no chance to send them back to Paris, France.

I just want to ask you if there is any way to exchange them here in India with the 8020 B system from your authorised distributor here in India named Sound Team (http://www.soundteam.in, shiv@soundteam.in). They are still seal packed, I am also agree to pay some reasonable service charges for that.

Hope and waiting for your kind favour, Thank you very much!
