The time has come for us to retire the community forums, but we will keep everything available for reading. There is a lot of valuable content written over the years, and you'll be able to access all of that. However, no new posts can be written, or old posts modified.

Alternatively, if you wish to engage in a community discussion with other people, there are many active forums available. There is also an active, fan managed GENELEC COMMUNITY in Facebook, and many Genelec employees are active in the discussions there.

Dear Genelec People 

 

its ok to do a new homepage , working over the whole thing,  forum etc.

 

But  its tons of dead URLs now, I cannot download SAM software , a total mess . This is below main shool IQ

 

Can you please do the right thing first, run the new stuff on a parallel test server and when you finished your homework regarding Quality  then you go live ?

I feel you. Got my new 8340 today and i can't download GLM or register them... It sucks. Hope they fix this tomorrow!

Yeah, I can't set up my system either without the GLM software and the download site has been down for two days now.

The new software handles line wrapping very badly. I hope there is a resolution for it. Also the log in timeout when writing a reply is very annoying and doesn't motivate writing in depth stories. I wrote a long reply to one thread and it really took some time to check the references etc and it all was lost due to time out. Needless to say I didn't have stamina to do it all again. ;)

Whoops! I'm sorry to hear about this. I will forward your feedback to web administrator, and hopefully we can change the time out.
 

E: We have changed the time out -time from 30 minutes to 60 minutes.
