The time has come for us to retire the community forums, but we will keep everything available for reading. There is a lot of valuable content written over the years, and you'll be able to access all of that. However, no new posts can be written, or old posts modified.

Alternatively, if you wish to engage in a community discussion with other people, there are many active forums available. There is also an active, fan managed GENELEC COMMUNITY in Facebook, and many Genelec employees are active in the discussions there.

GLM 2 Not Launching

Question, perhaps someone might know the remedy for this.... I have my GLM2 hooked up on my MAC comuter to control my Genelec speakers. When I turn on my computer in the morning, I click the GML2 icon to launch the software, and about one in every 3 times it doesn't register. By this I mean it seems to not recognise my speakers or volume control, the icons on the software become red colored. If I restart my computer it fixes this, I figure for the price I paid for these speakers I shouldn't have to do that, ha. I do have the controller hooked up using a USB hub, maybe the issue lies  there? Wondering if anybody else had experienced this too?

Hi,

An USB hub is definitely the issue here, we do not recommend using one with the GLM adapter. Please connect it straight to the computer/laptop.
