Can you share if Genelec have any plans to port the GLM software to run on an Apple iPad?

Thanks,

Nicholas

Hi Nicholas,

Thank you for your question. Currently we are not developing GLM for iOS/Android.

With the introduction of IPadOS at WWDC, I just wondered if Genelec's answer is the same?

Thanks!

Nicholas

Hi Nicholas,

Unfortunately IPad does not support HID-devices, so unfortunately it would not be possible to use the existing GLM adapter directly with it.

So I'm sorry my answer would still be the same, but who knows what future brings. wink

Thanks for the quick response.

The reason I asked is that I need to replace my Macbook. When I looked at a iPad Pro instead I realised it could do everything I need except manage my Genelec speakers.

I'm not in a rush (could wait until 2020), do you think there is any point waiting to see what the future holds?

Thanks and regards,

Nicholas
