Hello all,

The woofer edge of my Genelec 1037C has become slightly tacky. Is this the original state or the adhesive ages like the midrage unit's foam edge?

Thank you for watching.

Hi,

Can you provide a close up photo of the woofer edge where you see this problem? What is the serial number of the unit? Do you have more of the same kind of monitors (1037C) and does their woofers look/feel the same? I am suspecting it could be the moisture during the summer time that makes the adhesive little tacky.
