Home theather - 8341

Hi, I am considering building a 7.2 home theater, size is 7 * 5 meters. Thinking of using 8341 (or 8351) as LMR and 8340 as surrounding.  Is this appropriate? I am concerning if the listensing distance will be too far for 8341 (or 8351).  Some post saying that if listening distance is greater than 2.5m, then 8341 (or 8351) will not be suitable.  And also will the sound presure being too low for this size of toom? I have two 7071 sub.

Given the room size that you have, I would suggest 8351 as the main speakers, you can combine and use them with 8340 as surround. Main benefit of having 8351 over the smaller 8341 is better directivity control, giving better performance for longer listening distance. When combined with a subwoofer, the sound pressure level should be enough for normal listening levels.

Best Regards, Markus
