Is there any way to match G3 with 7060?

Hello community,

I am thinking on buying a sub. I know that G3 is the best option or even 7350, 7360. But last two are beyond of budget. Thie first is on the top of my list, however time after time a good prices appears on 7050 or 7060 subs and I wondering if and how could I match them with my G3 speakers without loosing the quality of sound.

Thank you in advance,

K

Hi,

7050B is not compatabile with the G3 because it doesn't have the needed high pass filter for the speakers. 7060B and F Two can be used with G3, and bigger subwoofers.

There is 10 dB difference in input sensitivity of 7060 and G3. If you have G3A revision, you can use the +10 dB dip switch to compensate this.

Is it true I can use 7060 b? Sounds good! Regarding input sensitivity I am sure there is an adjustment for RCA input as it set on minus 10 dB comparing to xlr one. Or it’s related to both inputs? Thank you

If you have G3A, it has +10 dB switch and it works for both inputs, RCA and XLR.

If you have G3B, it has -10 dB switch and it works for both inputs, RCA and XLR.

Can you please confirm that 7350 will work with G3 too?

Thank you

Unfortunately it won't be a good match because 7350 is missing the required high pass filters needed for bass management. Our recommendation is to use F Two model instead, or 7360, 7370, 7380 from our pro audio product range.
