F series without remote control?

Youngling Posts: 1 Join Date: 2/22/18 Recent Posts

Hi forum,

Is there any way to operate the Genelec F subwoofers without the remote control, e.g. set them to maximum volume?

(I sometimes rent out my G/F system and whenever people forget/lose the remote then I'm stuck.)

Thanks!

Hi there!

Welcome to our community forum. Unfortunately F One doesn't have alternative volume controller, so remote controller is always needed to adjust the volume. What I can recommend is to make sure that you try to remember to set the F One to maximum level before renting it. It is also possible to order more of these remote controllers from our distributors/dealers, and we will have these as spare parts for very long time so the subwoofer is usable also even if the remote controller would fail in use or get lost.
