Confused about Wireless Volume Control

Genelec states on its webpage that the 9101A wireless volume control was manufactured from 2014 - 2016. Does this mean that it is no longer available or supported?

There also seems to be 9101AM. Is it the same or a successor to the 9101A?

I'm planning to buy some 8340 SAM speakers and would like to know if wireless remote is still supported. If so, is it included in the GLM Kit or must it be purchased separately?

I would appreciate if someone from Genelec could clarify this.

There might be some new releases/solutions soon.

The 9101AM works fine with GLM 2 but you have to purchase it separately.

Thanks for your reply. However, the difference between the 9101A and 9101AM is still unclear. Sometimes, the two designations are used interchangeably in the same articles or advertisements.

And does the 9101AM also work with the newer GLM 3?

Is there some info anywhere about the new solution you mention? Any timeframe?

I found some post from June 2016 in this forum, where a future product was mentiond, without any comments about features or availability date. Now, almost two years later, the situation is still unclear.

Both the same product. 9101AM & 9101A (Wireless volume control)

Yes it works also with the GLM3 software. GLM3 was just a software update, no new adapter(yet).

I dont know the timeframe of the new releases but im guessing its just around the corner.

Hopefully well get some new sweet products real soon :)

Thanks for your answers. Hopefully, "real soon" doesn't mean another two years. I'm really curious about their forthcoming News Release.

Manutal, how official is this? May I ask if you are from Genelec?
