Alternatively, if you wish to engage in a community discussion with other people, there are many active forums available. There is also an active, fan managed GENELEC COMMUNITY in Facebook, and many Genelec employees are active in the discussions there.

We are sorry for any possible inconvenience this may cause you, but we hope to hear from you through the other channels mentioned above.

Selling registered products

Hi,

are there any registration/warranty policies I need to take into account if I decide to sell my registered Genelec speakers? Is the new owner entitled to the same 3-year warranty just by re-registering the previously owned product and showing the original receipt with my name on it?

I tried to find an answer to my question from Genelec's FAQ, but didn't find any. I'd appreciate if somebody from the company could shed some light on this.

I think that the warranty works normally if its still valid time wise & you have the receit or some documentation of the purchase.

But someone from Genelec can surely info more on this matter.

What's the point of having a forum such as this, if it's this difficult to get an answer from a representative of the company?

I guess they are pretty busy at genelec HQ, someone will probably clear this asap.

But as I said, as long as you have the receipt you can for sure register the 3 year extra warranty. (as far as I know)
